Introducing our 2019 recipient of support

In 2015, we started the Project Change Foundation with a simple mission: to support and empower emerging change-makers who are working to create positive change in our communities.

Over the past four years, the Foundation has given small grants and other support to early-stage charities with significant potential for creating social or environmental change. Previously, the Foundation has supported local charities The Lipstick Project, Community First Foundation, and Binners’ Project.

At our gala event on November 22nd, we introduced the Foundation’s 2019 recipient of support, Chilliwack Restorative Justice and Youth Advocacy Association. With the Foundation’s contribution to their work, they will continue to build on the success of their programs, which focus on restorative and preventative approaches to crime prevention and public safety. They truly embody our mission of making the world a better place by creating positive social change. Here’s a short two-minute video about their work (credit: Dean Broughton):

Kickstarting Canadian Charities

The Project Change Foundation is a Canadian charitable foundation that supports positive change in communities across our country. We do this by providing financial and other support to new or emerging charities with a clear vision for improving their communities or the environment. The Foundation supports organizations with big goals around connecting, engaging and inspiring people to make a difference. Our goal is to nurture financially sustainable, well-organized charities capable of standing the test of time.

We invite you to support our work by making a donation to the Project Change Foundation. The Foundation is run by a volunteer board of directors, and is operated with very little overhead. Annual donations made by the board members cover all operational expenses. This means your donation will be invested directly in the organizations we support. As well, when you make a donation, you will receive an official tax receipt that is accepted by the Canada Revenue Agency. To make a donation, click here.

Thank you for partnering with us to create positive change in our communities!

Warmly,
Joe
